SPAIN -- ranked by Expats around the world as The 3rd Best 'Living' Experience, -- and PORTUGAL as the 6th Best 'Living' Experience - HSBC's 2021 Global Expat Survey.

Q3 2021

HSBC's Global Expat survey, is now in its 14th edition / year, and it received input from over 20,000 Expats in more than 46 countries around the world in its interview-based 2021 survey. It ranks countries based on 3 overall categories (Living, Aspiring, Future Outlook), based on the Expats' input and experiences of the country that they have moved to. HSBC positions the survey as “the longest running independent global survey of expats".

The top 6 countries in the 2021 Survey in the 'Living' category (which includes input on overall Quality of Life, Wellness, Society, and 'Little' Exparts) are as follows:

Switzerland
New Zealand
Spain
Australia
Cyprus
Portugal

" 9 out of 10 expats in Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Cyprus and Spain recommend moving there for the quality of life" - Survey Report.

(In the 2020 Study, Spain was the No 1 and Portugal the No 5 Country in the world for 'Living'.)
